I am Olha Stefanishyna from Sevastopol, Crimea. Two years ago, I realized I had become the victim of a crime. I have amnesia and didn’t know I am injured and traumatized: I had problems with health, but I didn’t know they could be related to crimes. The police from their side did not investigate the case. Since then, I have been working through flashbacks, which are the result of trauma and harm experienced several years ago.

Incidents from my direct memory and my commentary are marked in bold.

The location and time for these are unknown.

I am on the floor in front of a TV screen. It shows people participating in a video call. Next to me are some people in masks and dressed in black.

I cannot see the participants clearly.

  • (M) Please allow me to leave the country. My wife is pregnant.
  • (M) You can leave the country, but your son will remain in Russia. You must return as soon as required. Show them what will be done to their families if they disobey.

The people in black begin to torture and rape me. The participants are demanded to look into their cameras and not look away.

Important: Flashbacks and fragments are not the direct memory.
